How a ticketing system designed for IT task management was reimagined to meet the needs of a central research finance support unit to track tasks such as reporting, invoicing, A/R follow up, subtransfer reporting and payments, fund setup, finance system amendments, finance system close, and revenue recognition. A presentation of the current system environment, how the system was set up, integrating automations and workflows with the goal of enhancing effectiveness in a paperless environment.
