Designing & Executing Successful Research Events - Part 3: After the Event.
Oct 27 2023, 12-1:30pm EST.
Your big social function is finally over but this doesn’t mean that your work is finished. There are several things that need to be done post-event before you pat yourself on the back for a job well done. This presentation will cover the strategies that needs to be considered when wrapping up your activity and planning for your next big event.
This third and final webinar in the Designing & Executing Successful Research Events certificate series will cover the often-forgotten final details that have to be done to before closing the final chapter on your big day including preparing event summary, notifying winners, doing final reporting, announcing winners, preparing photo library, compiling evaluation survey results, and sending out thank you emails. Other things to consider depending on the type of activity include presenting results to planning committee, sending speakers’ expenses for reimbursement, submitting attendance for CME credits, and preparing an event log to note any issues for next year.
This special 90-minute presentation will also include examples of planning aids to help you wrap up your next function. This will be followed by a 30-minute interactive question & answer period.
**A certificate will be awarded for completion of all 3 parts**
