Responsibilities: Educate fellow research administrators about the Research Administration Certificate opportunity at Mohawk College through blog posts, CARA Connection articles, social media, and/or in-person presentations at institutions and conferences. CARA has a slide deck available for you to present at your institution or others in your area and funds may be available from CARA to sponsor refreshments.

Responsibilities: Solicit, write and edit articles for CARA’s bi-monthly newsletter. Working as part of the newsletter team, you write articles in your area of expertise and recruit diverse writers to publish in the CARA Connection.

Position title: Webinar Presenter
Interest Area: Professional Development
Responsibilities: Develop and present a webinar in your particular area of expertise. CARA coordinates the advertising, scheduling, and webinar platform. Presenters submit an abstract and bio for review by the Chair, Professional Development and for advertising. The presenter does a systems test prior to the webinar and the webinar is moderated by the CARA staff (please contact michelkcara@gmail.com for a list of topics).
Hours: 1 hour webinar plus preparation time. Webinars are scheduled for speaker convenience.
