Collective capacity refers to how we work together to achieve our shared goals. Building this capacity in our research office teams and across our organizations hinges on our relationships and a shared set of values that guide our actions. It also depends on our resiliency as individuals and change leaders. We must look inward first to understand how we deal with change - what our triggers are and how resilient we are. We must also reflect on our own perceptions, preferences and reactions to change before trying to engage others.
This session will address the following questions:
1. How do you, as an individual, cope with change?
2. How can you build collective capacity and begin to separate the boundaries between groups of people?
3. How do you engage across the entire system?
