Human Research Accreditation Canada
Academic, hospital and private research organizations have adopted Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) accreditation as the currency of human research quality. Among the hundreds of accredited research organizations around the world, the majority are represented by American academic health centres such as Johns Hopkins Medicine, Harvard University Faculty of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Duke University Health System and Yale University.
In 2020, Canada made history by accrediting its first academic health centre. This webinar will outline the accreditation process at this academic health centre, including:
-the development of its HRPP,
- writing procedures to fulfill the accreditation standards and requirements, and
- operating under the accredited HRPP.
