Many universities are responding, making commitments and holding engagements about equity, diversity and inclusion. Then, after an often complex and wide-ranging engagement process, recommendations are generated and there is a sense of "What next?" As we work through the next steps there are lots of ways project planning and project management can help. Project planning plays an essential role in helping guide stakeholders, teams, and the project manager through other project phases and to provide transparency to all involved in the project - also leading to credibility. Many EDI teams are structured with strong leaders, facilitators and educators but, can be missing resources such as project management officers, administrative support, researchers, writers and editors. This presentation intends to talk about what happens after engagement and where action can get stalled.
