Project management in research is about facilitating the responsible
conduct of research, maximizing the potential activities within the
constraints of both institutional and funder/sponsor requirements and
expectations, and anticipating and enabling project change for the dynamic
science within a highly bureaucratic system. This session will look at
research project management issues in a large or multi-institution
setting, and use scenarios to allow participants to assess issues that
come up that project managers or research administrators have to address.
