Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are increasingly critical factors in the success of grant applications. Funding agencies are prioritizing support for projects that present comprehensive, meaningful, and actionable EDI plans. This session is designed for individuals new to research administration who seek an introductory understanding of EDI concepts and frameworks. Attendees will gain insights into best practices for integrating EDI into research projects and learn effective strategies for articulating these elements in grant applications.
