The topic of research impact is not new. But the practice remains emergent and with this comes challenges and opportunities. CARA has facilitated webinars on this issue, led by knowledge mobilization leaders. This presentation will provide an overview of these conversations, share insights from emerging scholarship, and provide time for us to discuss the issue. Be it within our own operational spheres, the culture of our institutions or the research systems which we work within, there are concurrent challenges and opportunities.
This session will be engaging and participatory, allowing for a free exchange on the issues around Research Impact at this time. It is expected that dedicated time to explore research impact across our own practices, our institutions and across the research system in Canada will help us understand where this is space to advance our practices.
