This session will discuss proprietary issues in CTAs including intellectual property, data, confidentiality, publication and biological materials. The focus will be on how to properly negotiate these clauses from a site perspective, including appropriate scope, conditions and exclusions.

Marlon holds a B.A. from the University of Calgary and a LL.B. and M.B.A. from the University of Alberta, having also successfully completing an intensive negotiation course for lawyers at Harvard Law School. Marlon works with Kingsgate Legal, a new law firm serving corporate, institutional and individual clients with a modern, innovative and cost-effective approach.
