Get to know Horizon Europe and your National Contact Points in Canada

The network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for Horizon Europe is the main structure to provide guidance, practical information and assistance on all aspects of participation in the programme. The Government of Canada has established NCPs to support members of the Canadian research community interested in applying to calls published under the Pillar II of Horizon Europe.

Tamara Sone, NCP Coordinator and Senior Policy Advisor at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, will provide general information on Horizon Europe’s funding opportunities, rules of participation and legal requirements. Her presentation will address the following topics:
• Current status of Canada’s association to Horizon Europe
• The benefits of Horizon Europe and the current research priorities, including 2025-27 Strategic Plan
• How to apply and find partners and collaborators
• Compliance, Reporting Requirements, IPR Considerations and Data Management
• The role of National Contact Points

This presentation will be followed by a Q&A to address audience queries
