Research Cybersecurity with Cybersecurity Hygiene

Nov 27 2024, 12-1PM EST.

We all face a daily barrage of news about security, information security, and cybersecurity (we'll start by disambiguating these different terms). This seemingly endless stream of content can lead to fear, confusion and even denial or abstinence from taking even simple preventative measures. There are things everyone can do to be more secure. This session will provide a pick-and-choose buffet of institutional-policy-agnostic, practical suggestions and plain language explanations of what can be done by individuals and teams within and outside the work environment and why each is important.
