Scott Baker manages the Research Cybersecurity and Compliance team at UBC Advanced Research Computing and the more general UBC Compliance Support Program team. He leads a group of privacy and security professionals focused on helping staff and faculty navigate the sometimes complex cybersecurity environment. He is a member of the Digital Research Alliance of Canada national security council, and has over 25 years of experience managing people, projects, and IT systems.
