To celebrate our certificate graduates and CARA's 55th birthday anniversary next year, CARA is pleased to announce INORMS 2027 conference registration awards for member graduates. Membership in 2026-27 is required to apply for the award with membership in 2027-28 required to receive the award.
The application deadline is October 1, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
All graduates of the Research Administration Certificate and/or Research Management Coordination Certificates, including those who graduated from the earlier partnership prior to the Mohawk College programs, who are members of CARA in good standing (holding CARA membership both at the time of the application and the membership year the conference is offered)
SELECTION CRITERIA The following criteria are considered in determining recipients:
LENGTH OF SERVICE: The individual has been engaged as a CARA Member for at least 1 year. The individual is committed to continuing to contribute to CARA. Preference will be given to those who have been members for more than 1 year.
NEED: The individual demonstrates some degree of financial need.
ACHIEVEMENT: A graduate of Research Administration Certificate and/or Research Management Coordination Certificates, including those who graduated from the earlier partnership prior to the Mohawk College programs. Leadership in the profession through CARA will be considered.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES:
That the Awards be available through an application process that includes criteria based on both merit and need. That the Awards awarded through CARA belong to the individual members and are non-transferable. The award consists of registration for INORMS 2027.
